Terms and Conditions
TERMS OF SERVICE
It is your responsibility to fully understand the terms and conditions for the retreat. Please read carefully what is and is not included in your retreat package and view all encompassing on the website. Should you have questions regarding the terms and conditions, we are available for consultation and would be happy to clarify any areas in advance of signing a contract with us.
1. Retreat Pricing. All prices are per person and are set well in advance of the retreat start date. Prices include retreat costs only; they do not include travel costs to and from El Salvador.
2. Retreat Payment & Deposit. Payment can be made via credit card or PayPal. You can pay in full or select our proposed payment plan. If you would like to discuss a different payment plan, please contact us directly at nirvanajkd@gmail.com for further assistance.
2a. Proposed Payment Plan. To secure your spot, a deposit of 30% of the total cost per person is required by October 27, 2025. The remaining balance is divided into 4 installments:
First Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due Date: November 10, 2025.
Second Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due Date: November 30, 2025.
Third Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due: December 20, 2025.
Final Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due: January 10, 2025.
2b. Early Bird Special. Our early bird special will run from the date we launch the retreat until September 15, 2025. If signing up with early bird special, you can split that deposit into 2 payments. The full 30% deposit must be fully paid by October 27, 2025. See early bird special payment schedule below:
Deposit 1: Amount: 15% of total package cost. Due Date: Upon booking.
Deposit 2: Amount: 15% of total package cost. Due Date: October 27th, 2025.
The remaining balance is divided into 4 installments:
First Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due Date: November 10, 2025.
Second Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due Date: November 30, 2025.
Third Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due: December 20, 2025.
Final Installment: Amount: 25% of remaining balance. Due: January 10, 2025.
Participants will receive reminder emails one week prior to each due date. If payments are not received by the deadlines specified above, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and offer the spot to another participant. Please note: We will make every effort to assist you in meeting payment deadlines and will reach out prior to and on the day of the balance due date to avoid any issues.
3. Strict Cancellation Policy If you wish to cancel your retreat you must notify via email at nirvanajkd@gmail.com.
In the event of cancellation before or by November 30, 2025, we offer the following refund policy:
We will offer a 75% refund of total amount paid if you decide to cancel by November 30, 2025.
We do not offer any refunds if you cancel after November 30, 2025. At this point, exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for ANY reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest, health changes, personal emergencies or otherwise. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.
4. Transfer Policy. Reservations cannot be transferred into someone else’s name unless with permission of the Host. If you wish to transfer your spot to someone else, please contact nirvanajkd@gmail.com.
5. Retreat Cancellations. The Host reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary; including, but not limited to: advertised excursions, arranged transportation, advertised meals, etc. In the rare case of a Retreat cancellation, The Host will offer a transfer to another retreat (if possible) or a full refund of your payment. The Host is not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of retreat cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. The Host reserves the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked, in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to The Host. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damages (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes).
6. Travel Documents. Passport holders are generally required to have at least 6 months validity on their passport at time of travel. It is your responsibility to verify any applicable information regarding necessary documentation to enter El Salvador with your passport/nationality.
7. Roommates assignments. Retreat rates are per person. Shared rooms require shared occupancy for the specified room rate. If you book a shared room without specified roommate(s), we will do our best to match you with another guest of the retreat. In the event we can’t find you a roommate for your first pick, we will present you with different rooming options. This means that if there is no roommate, you will have to pay for the full room cost for a single room rate, not shared rate.
